Selection in 3 steps: ① part length — up to 540mm → HMS-550; 540–740mm → HMS-750; over 740mm (ball screws, shafts, piston rods) → HMS-2000 with 2000mm tailstock travel and 2100mm Z-axis. ② bar capacity — Φ52mm on 550/750, Φ72mm + 10" chuck on 2000 for bigger blanks. ③ heavy cutting — 11kW/72N·m is general purpose; 2000 delivers 18.5kW/122N·m with 55mm linear guides and 9500kg rigidity. All models accept chip conveyors; 550/750/2000 support tailstock for long shafts.
